Arcade Attendant
About the job
Responsibilities:
Observe, instruct and monitor guests for adherence to safety and other company guidelines
Process sales transactions in the POS system, make change, count and balance cash drawer
Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring satisfaction, and resolving concerns effectively
Set up console games for customers
Answer customer questions about games, facilities, products & promotions
Perform opening and closing procedures and clean machines and work area frequently throughout the shift
Perform minor troubleshooting and report any machines needing service
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills
Able to multitask
Have a proactive, enthusiastic, positive attitude ready to solve problems and adapt to change in a start-up environment
Enjoys interacting with people
Able to work weekends and holidays
At least 16 years old
Have reliable transportation
Able to wear a face mask at all times, unless exempted by a documented protected condition
Able to not smoke or vape while on premises
Able to provide references
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with sales transactions and POS systems
Multilingual
Enjoys working with people
Knowledge and appreciation of retro and current arcade/video games and systems
